Effective Personal Leadership rests on our ability to be self aware, to effectively manage our emotions and to emotionally connect with the people around us. This is when great performance occurs.

Our Emotional Intelligence for Personal Leadership workshop is a rewarding, enjoyable learning experience. It is an opportunity to enhance and develop the skills that will help increase your effectiveness as a leader.

Business is changing at a rapid pace! Skills and abilities once considered necessary for a successful career are now not enough. What then distinguishes high performance? Breakthrough research has shown that a new measurement for determining performance in the workplace is EI – Emotional Intelligence. EI is essential to high performance in individuals and organisations.

Our lives are ever more demanding and if we wish to become high performing leaders we must look to internally at our self-awareness, the ability to manage ourselves and others, as well as connect with others – the basis of emotional intelligence – as a means of leveraging performance.

The thread that runs through all the attributes of leadership is the ability to effectively connect and interact with people. That is what the Emotional Intelligence for Personal Leadership programme focuses on ….. people skills. You will find Emotional Intelligence for Personal Leadership to be a practical, down-to-earth and real-life oriented program.

Specifically at the end of the two days you will be able to:

  • Understand emotional intelligence and its value to you personally and professionally
  • Understand the science behind emotional intelligence

  • Learn and practice techniques to manage your own and others’ emotions more skillfully
  • Understand how to connect emotionally with others

This programme has been designed to provide ample opportunities to network and to gain peer support in tackling emotionally challenging situations and/or relationships. You are asked to engage in discussions, data sorting and interpretation, case study analysis, practice sessions and group presentations.
